Vinsent Mettel is an acclaimed Ukrainian-British film director and producer whose two-decade career spans more than 60 films, including 11 full-length features - three of which rank among IMDb's Top 250 Ukrainian Films. A relentless innovator, Vinsent Mettel made history in 2018 as the first filmmaker in the world to pioneer the "Solo Film" concept, single-handedly directing Eight, taking on 8 distinct on-screen roles while personally overseeing 19 key behind-the-camera positions. The following year, he broke new ground again with Atonement, Ukraine's first feature film shot entirely on an iPhone. In 2020, he wrote and directed the world's first feature to center an actor living with cerebral palsy - cementing his reputation as a director unafraid to redefine what's possible in independent cinema.
